With marriage becoming increasing popular after a great lull in the Eighties where people chose to live with each other rather than get married many more accessories are being offered to the would be happy couple. One of the less traditional accessories are wedding fireworks. Fireworks have long been used in Asia to celebrate weddings but are not so common for more Western marriages.

Also on offer are some fantastic honeymoons in some very exotic locations such as Christmas Island or luxury yachts. When it comes to the wedding reception there are many things to organise like the tables and the crockery as well as which fine wines to use and what champaign to pick. It’s well worth getting some help with the organisation as it can be quite overwhelming for one person to do.

I had never heard the term wedding favours before and so was intrigued to find that it was referring to the gifts which the bride and groom give out on their wedding day.  It is however not solely used for this alone the term favours comes from the Italian word bomboniere and can be used to describe the gifts given at first communion.
